At First Baptist Church Coolidge, Texas, you are welcome to come to learn about living an Authentic Christian Life by faith in Jesus Christ. We seek to study the Bible as our only authority and from the Bible learn what it is to live an Authentic Christian Life today. You are welcome to join us on this faith journey and together we will seek the face of God. We are a diverse group that finds unity in the love of Jesus and we seek to help people find and experience that same love for themselves.

Sunday Mornings in 2023
Pastor Chuck is out of the hospital and recovering at home. For the near future, all services are planned for normal times. Sunday morning will have our Bible Study Classes from 9:15-10:15 and our morning worship from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM.
In our evening time, we suspended our class on Missional Living while Pastor recovers. Once his strength grows, we will resume this great class. Meanwhile, you are invited to join us for a time of refreshing, prayer, and fellowship as we gather together. Contact Deborah Hullum for more information about this casual gathering. Wednesday Night Prayer and Bible Study will continue in its usual format at 6:00 PM.
The new Men's Bible Study has begun. Each Sunday we will meet from 9:15 AM to 10:15 at the church. We are beginning this class with a verse-by-verse study of the Book of Romans. Be prepared for next's week's study as we begin this week in Chapter One.
Our Theme for our Sunday Morning Services this year is: "Hope Has A Name: Finding Hope in Hopeless Situations."
More than ever before we see people search for hope in many different ways. When they find something that they think will give them hope in this world, they find that whatever they are depending on for hope will fail them sooner or later. That is because there is nothing in this world that will give them the hope they need to face the hopeless times of their lives. This world is faulty, broken, and the hopes of people are crushed by the fact that there seems to be no place to turn to in order to find true hope. That is where God’s offer of hope found by faith in Jesus is revealed and is the only true source of hope that can enable people to face life today. This year, we plan to look at many of the aspects of our lives today in this world and seek in our study to find how hope found by faith in Jesus can truly give you the hope to face any situation you encounter in this faulty broken world. You need hope to face the days ahead, and we want to share with you the place to find the only true hope you need to successfully live your life today. Join us in 2023 as we discover in our studies each Sunday: “Hope Has A Name: Finding Hope In Hopeless Situations.”
